The Crew

So many people have touched this project that to list them would be nearly impossible. We wouldn't be here without them. We continue to be here because of them. Our crew may be few but our family here, vast. This journey has been long and demanding and always, always magical and we can't thank you enough for the amount of continued support you have given us.

Amber (She/Her)

Director & Producer

  • Amber discovered her love of film by renting and re-renting the same VHS tapes from her small town video store. At sixteen, thinking she wanted to be a screenwriter, she was told “You should be a director, you’ve got a knack for telling people what to do.” Unsure if this was a compliment or not, she went on to get a degree in… Writing.

  • She is a lover of snow, hater of vodka, and is terrified of what might be at the bottom of the ocean. She only drinks cappuccinos out of ceramic cups, an old fashioned over a large piece of ice, and prefers her apple juice at room temperature.

  • “They say life is short, but it is long…”

    - Doc Holliday (Wynonna Earp)

“They can’t tell us what’s real.”

-Greta Gill (A League of Their Own)

Alex (She/They)

Sound Engineer

  • Alex found their passion for film through music. She originally pursued a music production degree but was told she had a much better film portfolio from their experience in a high school film class. While attending film school she happened to be handed a boom mic and sound mixer with little to no knowledge of how to use the equipment, but it was in that moment they realized that was exactly what they were supposed to be doing. She really is a great listener.

  • In their spare time they can be found cuddling their fur babies, Tux and Clarke, binging a queer show with their super supportive partner, playing video games with their virtual NotSoBoring crew, or going to a concert with their best friends!!

  • “Baby girl, we is the team.”

    -Wynonna Earp

Jas (They/Them)

Editor/Camera

  • Jas started their media journey with a simple camcorder, making home videos. Their love for all things media and representation grew and led them to a career in photography and film.

Jas is committed to serving the queer, marginalized, and allied communities. After a decade of documenting stories, their passion for creating continues as they pursue that untold story.
